CAD & CAM – The Blueprint for Success

Our perspective here at Ephrata Precision Parts is that we provide quality parts for our customers.  Therefore, every job that enters our shop is manufactured against a print.  This attribute is the key to our success since it allows us to repeatedly manufacture parts against a proven dimensional standard. 

Ephrata Precision maintains a subscription service to SolidWorks and SolidCAM, enabling us to keep abreast of new developments while never having to worry about not having the latest version as our customers.  Used in conjunction with our Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other inspection equipment, Ephrata Precision can accurately replicate (part to print) or inspect (part to print) anything that enters our shop.

What if a customer does not have a drawing of the required part? 

Not a problem—Ephrata Precision will coordinate engineering a print from an existing part or customer description.  Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) capabilities add yet another layer to our customer service. We can reverse engineer parts or even assist your R&D dept. in designing a new product.  Our prompt attention to design changes and dedication to detail tips the scale.

Already have a drawing?

Perfect—Ephrata Precision can open and use any of the most popular CAD files.  We can approach a job from multiple angles, either importing existing files or working from a physical print.
